Since the first dive watches in the 1950s, there have been hundreds of dive watch case shapes and styles, but through the years, there’s only been one case that is known by its brand name, the MONNIN case.

MONNIN came to fame in the mid-1970s, when HEUER decided to venture in the diver watch market. With no previous experience in diver watches, production was outsourced to a French company named Georges Monnin. Sales took off and production was moved back in-house. The rest is history.

The MONNIN design and case was then used by several watchmakers throughout the seventies and eighties, including SINN, BREITLING, AQUADIVE and HGP to name a few.

Today, the MONNIN case is back to dive and travel again.
